Andy is organizing a Literary evening talk with guest speakers, keep checking back for time comformations & who the Guest speakers are.

6:30pm

Service in traditional language lasting around 30 mins including a short reflection based on the readings of the day.

Service using more modern language lasting approximately 1hr with a 8-10 min sermon based on the reading of the day.  

Children's activity sheet and colouring pencils provided.

Refreshments afterwards

A short service with lively hymns, a wide-mouth puppet sketch, and an activity bag so children can make their own Christingle to light in the service and take home. 

Regular monthly meetings with singing, story, craft writing and a social time. All pre schoolers with carers are welcome, no charge is made for this.

Communion service in modern language with hymns, prayers, and a short sermon (10mins) based in the readings of the day.

Activity sheets and colored pencils are available for young people.

Refreshments afterward.

A set of Bible readings and carols leading through the story of the birth of Christ 

A short service lasting around 45mins with a visit from wide-mouth puppets and upbeat songs.  All children receive a Christingle to light and take home during the service.

A short Communion service with some familiar carols. Tea / coffee and cake served afterwards.

Come dressed as your favourite character from the Nativity or a novel addition!

NEW EVENT

Christmas Nativity Play
This will be for children from all over the WBB and it will be directed by Charlie & Marcus Scales and assisted by Tom Stevenson. Alice Armstrong Scales will take overall responsibility.

Rehearsals will take place a few days before 23rd Dec.

Come and help us create the crib scene and to hear the story of the birth of Jesus. A special service for young and old. 

A poignant Communion service in the darkness of night to herald the arrival of Jesus. Includes familiar hymns and carols plus a short sermon.

This will be one of the few services held at St. Mary's Avington. An opportunity to worship in a beautiful setting.
